Dennis was part of the original team that created the long-running PBS kids show Reading Rainbow, and that experience triggered a lifelong interest in using media to make challenging content more accessible. His work as a writer and producer has been featured on The Disney Channel, PBS, The Learning Channel, History Channel, Showtime, A&E and Nat Geo.
Susan oversees NHPTV’s Educational Services, which is recognized through the Granite State and nationally as a resource for quality media-rich K – 12 curriculum content.
Lauren’s academic focus is on technology in the classroom. She is a founder of the STEM Discovery Lab at the University of New Hampshire, and is currently Director of STEM outreach for Dartmouth College. Lauren serves on the NH Governor’s STEM Task Force and the Massachusetts Department of Education’s Science and Mathematics Advisory Council.
Teon has a BA in astrophysics and math from Williams College, and M.Ed. from Harvard where she focused on the use of Multimedia in Education. She works for TERC (Technical Education Research Center) in Cambridge, MA, as a science curriculum development specialist.
Dawn oversees the station’s broadcast, online, educational outreach and communciations efforts, She is passionate about producing localy relevant content with impact long after broadcast. She has been at NHPTV since 2000 when she launched the station's new nightly public affairs program, NH Outlook. She and her excellent team of producers and videographers have won Tellys, regional Emmy awards and more than a dozen local New Hampshire Association of Broadcasters awards for excellence. Before joining NHPTV, Dawn lived and worked in the San Francisco-Bay Area, where she spent 20 years producing television news programs for ABC and CBS affiliate stations.
Tom has experience in the formation, financing, strategic planning and management of business and product development ventures. He finds creative solutions that combine private and non-profit resources to solve social problems.
